OUR MISSION
Mitzvah Kitchen of Miami is dedicated to combating food insecurity by preparing and distributing nutritious kosher meals through volunteer-powered, hands-on culinary programs. Rooted in Jewish values, we partner with local organizations to foster inclusion, community service, and education—creating meaningful opportunities to give back and nourish individuals and families in need.
Mitzvah Kitchen's home is on the Friendship Campus! The Mitzvah Kitchen is a dynamic community initiative dedicated to fighting food insecurity, strengthening community bonds, and inspiring service through hands-on culinary programs rooted in Jewish values.
Through partnerships with Friendship Circle of Miami, Chabad of Kendall and Pinecrest, and other local organizations, we offer meaningful opportunities that promote life skills, foster social connection, and encourage giving back. From preparing kosher meals for families in need to educating volunteers and participants about nutrition and food justice, our programs create a ripple effect of compassion and community impact.
Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive environment where individuals can learn, serve, and come together to uplift others—nourishing both body and soul in the process!
